Today I will show you how to make your own Custom T-Shirt, the easy and cheap way, just in a few step, so let your imagination fly and use this guide for your next Custom T-Shirt.

1. Materials: 1 T-Shirt, Retractable Knife or sharp blade, Masking Tape and Spray Paint.

2. Print you design on a piece of paper and then proceed to cut out your stencil.

3. The Cut out should look something like this.

4. Place a piece of cardboard or plywood inside the T-Shirt to prevent the paint cross over to the other side.

5. Tape your design on top of the T-Shirt, make sure there isn’t any gap between the paper and the t-shirt, use something to counter weight the paper in place.

6. Do NOT spray in angle or it will go under the paper and we don’t want that to happen.

7. Spray from the top… don’t press it to hard… just a mist is more than enough depending on what you are doing.

8. Don’t over do it… if you did it right it should look like this.

9. Remove the stencil very carefully, let it dry and wear your custom T-Shirt!  Have FUN!

THE BOX

[Outside]  Full color box with a lot of well made graphics, nice presentation by Thermaltake, in the back you have all the features this case have.

[Inside] You can find the product manual, 8 tie wraps, brass standoffs, 1 additional 5.25″ bay cover, 1 Extension Cable to power the CPU, speaker on board, and a plate to convert your 5.25″ to 3.5″

THE CASE

[The Front] A very futuristic design, it has gaming printed all over.

[The Rear] It has 8 PCI slots, you can mount a 120mm or 140mm to blow or extract air in or out your case depending on your airflow setting, it is water cooling ready with 3 retaining holes.  The Power Supply can be mount at the bottom for better airflow.

[Main Side Panel] Completely different as any design out there, the window has a unique futuristic design as well that match the overall design of the case.

[Right Side Panel] This Side panel don’t match the other side in case you don’t noticed it in the photo, the window part is located in the bottom so you can not make a matching window on this side.

[Top Panel] Besides the front… the top is the most well designed part of the case.  It resemble a battle spaceship out of this world.

[Bottom Panel]  It has a huge ventilation area cover with a removable filter that can be easily clean.

[Control Panel] 2x USB 3.0 Ports, 1x E-SATA Port, 2x USB 2.0 Ports, Front Audio Ports, Reset and Power Button, Buttons to change the light colors and fan speed in the case.

[Dock Station] You can either place a 3.5″ large SATA HDD or a 2.5″ SATA HDD on the dock station, this feature save you time and space because you don’t need that extra cable or gadget on your desk.

[Cables] We have a lot of cables running inside the case but the good news is that they are sleeved. The USB 3.0 use a all in one Super Speed cable to connect them directly to your motherboard.

[Drive Bay] Easy to detach Drive bay covers, nice holed mesh design with dust filters.

[Inside the Case] Tool-Less design lock for your 5.25″ device, you can house 4x 5.25″ devices or use the included 5.25″ to 3.5 adapter.  HDD trays that can be use for 3.5″ and/or 2.5 HDDs.

FEATURES

Thermaltake make sure that you didn’t forget who made this case, it has Thermaltake Logo embedded on every corner of the case.

One of the most coolest feature is the HDD Trays the are easy to mount and use, you don’t need an additional adapter to mount your 2.5″ HDD you just use the mounting holes at the bottom of the HDD tray and you are set.

Nothing is perfect in LIFE as you may know by now, the Thermaltake design team did a great job designing this case but when it comes to the holding tool-less bracket that hold most of the panels of the case, they make it really hard to access and use, you need to apply a lot amount of pressure to release them, we need to use the screwdriver in order to release most of the brackets.  As you can see on the photo basically is a male and female bracket setting.

A 200mm Fan that change color and speed by pressing a button on the control panel, it has a fan filter that can be easily clean.

As you can see here we have more hard to get tool-less holding brackets.

Under the top panel we found a 200mm fan that change color by pressing the button on the main control panel.

You can mount 2x 200mm fans or you can use either 120mm or 140mm for your setting.  You can also set your water cooling in this area.

You can either hide or show the case feet, the case is 1.25″ height which gave you a lot of room for a nice airflow underneath the case.

Thermaltake is thinking big when it comes to the CPU retaining hole, which make it more accessible and easy to set up any cooling setting you have in mind.

On the main side panel you have a self-lockable Headphone holder specially designed for gamers.

It has a 4 colors set of changeable lights (Blue, Green Red and RGB Mode) you can switch to any color you want from the top panel.

CONCLUSION

[PROS] The futuristic Space Battleship design make this case a must have by any gamer out there, if you are planning on building a Gaming Rig in the few days don’t look no further… this is the case for you, the first goal of Thermaltake is make gamers happy and they disappoint us with this one.  You have a Full ATX Case that can house large Graphic / Video Cards, nice airflow setting, you can choose from 4 light modes or not light at all.  Easy to use docking station, USB 3.0 support, water cooling ready, tool-less design for your 5.25″ and 3.5″ devices.  You will felt in love as soon as you take this case out the box guarantee!

[CONS] The only problem we found with this case was the tool-less holding bracket design, they really are hard to release by a normal person, you can either scratch the case or break the brackets if you are not careful enough, but you need a lot of strength to release all the brackets.

[Final Thought] You maybe wondering right now… “well… Thermaltake did a great job designing this case so I will no bother to mod it!” but we are thinking get this case from you favorite retailer /e-tailer and mod the hell out of it… it can be mod and it should be mod… Read the Moddables and you will find out some nice tips on how to do this or you can ask us for ideas at our facebook page.

Hello guys, we’ve receive several request about how to do a manual focus without complicated plugins or expensive cameras, well this is a trick I came out a long time ago when I was learning Photoshop on my own, it is pretty simple and easy to do.   Not previous knowledge of Photoshop required.   It will take about 5 minutes to do the whole trick.   So let start.

This is the picture that I am going to use… it belong to MooZ…

Angry Birds Themed Thermaltake Keyboard Mod

1. Run Photoshop

2. Load your picture (Go to File –> Open or Ctrl + O or drag and drop your image into PS)

3a. Now select the Tool that best suit your project (in this case I will use the lasso tool to create the selection)

3b. You can use the Rectangula and/or Eliptical Marquee Tool too.

4.  With the AREA of your Image selected Go to SELECT —> MODIFY —> FEATHER and enter your Feather Radius [In this case I will use 30]

5. Now go to SELECT Menu again and click on INVERSE

6.  Go to FILTER Menu and select BLUR —> GAUSSIAN BLUR  then Enter the proper amount of blur by sliding the bar… in this I will use Radius [3.8]

That’s it… easy and nice FX that you can add to your next Modding Project Pictures

[OPTIONAL]

7. Now go to the IMAGE Menu and click on ADJUSTMENTS —-> BRIGHTNESS / CONTRAST and play with it.  I prefer my focus a little bit dark than the original picture.  So I set it Brigtness [-50] Contrast [20]

8. Deselect your Image [Ctrl + D} Now let bring the Blackness... Go to IMAGE Menu ---> ADJUSTMENTS ---> SELECTIVE COLOR then on COlOR chose BLACK and slide the BLACK pane to the RIGHT [+20] this will depend on your image

THE BOX

[Outside]  The box is pretty fancy and colorful, it has a Giant Robot or Futuristic Enforcer that represent the line of the product itself, and on the back of the box we have all the special features of the main product.

[Inside] 1 set of 5.25” to 3.5” Converter, 1x Plastic base for your 2.5” Drive, 1x PCI Slot Cover with cable holder channel, Brackets for your HDDs, Screws for HDDs, Optical Drives and Motherboard, Speaker and 10x Tie Wraps.

THE CASE

[The Front] This case was designed with gamings in mind no doubt about that, its futuristic design take you to a whole new dimension.  With no visible drive bay it makes you wonder if it’s a Computer Case or a Robot from the distance future.

MODDABLE #1: The first thing you can Mod is the Front Door, yes, the front door… How? Very simple… just make some thin cuts on the 2 separator lines and add some lights.  Another thing that you can do is cut the a nice Hex shape where the CM STORM logo is located and replace with an piece of acrylic you can either engrave your own logo or the CM STORM logo again add some LED and voila you are good to go.

[The Rear] Features 7x PCI Slots + 1x Vertical PCI Slot, Hex Mesh Grilled Exhaust, Power Supply mounting holes are located at the bottom of the case, 3x Holes with rubber grommets for easy Water Cooling System installation.

[Main Side Panel] This panel integrates the futuristic concept once again has some kind of curved bevel than make the panel very unique.

MODDABLE #2: Remove the clear window and add a Red (or any color) Translucent piece of acrylic to keep the same Enforcer’s Color Scheme.  [Optional] If you have pretty good skills with your rotary tool you can do some cuts where the 4 curved-beveled designs are and make 4 tiny windows.

[Right Side Panel] Cooler Master didn’t over do this case, they know that this panel is just made to cover the cables and all that stuff, so it’s pretty basic and plain.

MODDABLE #3: Since this panel doesn’t have the same design as the main one you can either paint it or engraved… or if you like to go extreme you can copy the windows design and cut it out, add some Plexiglas (acrylic – any color) to match the window in both side.

[Top Panel] Hex Mesh Grilled Panel you can mount 2x 120mm fans or a 200mm fan, since this case is water cooling ready we believe that you can mount a Rad on this panel but we don’t really know.

MODDABLE #4: Cut the whole panel, yes you read it right… cut it, we like to cut as much as we can… get a piece of aluminum or acrylic make your own custom design and replace the stock grilled design.

[Control Panel] It has 2x USB2.0 Ports, 2x USB3.0 Ports, 1x Audio, 1x Mic, Power Button and LED Indicators, the Reset Button is hidden underneath the front door.

[Cables] These are all your cables from the Control Panel, USB2, USB3, Audio, LED Indicators, Power Button and Reset button cables.

MODDABLE #5: Sleeve all the cables you can either go with the Uni-Sleeve (single-sleeve every cable) Technique or sleeve them all at once, that way you won’t have a bunch of cables running wild inside your Computer Case.

[Inside the Case] The 5.25” bay devices can be attach via its feature tool less design. It has several cages for all your HDDs but the most impressive feature is that you can Remove or Rotate the main HDD cage in 2 different positions; the 2.5” HDD cage can be removed as well.

MODDABLE #7: Since you can remove the HDDs cages that will give you a lot of room to do some crazy things or you can build your own custom HDD cage… just let your imagination run wild.

FEATURES

The CPU Retaining Hole is pretty big so you can’t complain about that, that way you have a lot of room to place your CPU Cooler or Water Block back plate without any issue whatsoever.

One of the feature that we like the most is the Front Door, it can hide 4x 5.25″ bays behind it.  The Reset button is underneath the door as we mentioned before. Read MODDABLE #1

The 5.25″ Holed Bay Covers are painted black and they can be detach from the back, you have to go through inside the case in other to take any of the drive bay cover.

The front intake panel match the futurist design of the case, it has a holed black mesh underneath the plastic skin.

MODDABLE #8: Remove the stock holed mesh and use a different one like Hex mesh for example or make a custom one out of acrylic or aluminum since these are the best materials to work with.

It has a 200mm Front Intake fan with Red LED, the fan is held in place by 4 screws.

This case is Water Cooling Ready it feature 3 holes with rubber grommets that way you don’t cut yourself, peel the cable or scratch the hose surface, it’s a nice touch, it has an internal 120mm fan that can be replace for a 120mm Rad according to Cooler Master.

The bottom of the case was well designed seems like Cooler Master didn’t took any chance with this one, everything was well planned.  The case feet are made from plastic and they are 0.5″ high.

MODDABLE #9: Make your own custom case feet, use some LED and light ‘em up.  Case feet can be made out of acrylic and/or aluminum.

The Front fan as we mentioned it has Red LED that gives the overall the design this Strong looking Futuristic feeling.

MODDABLE #10: Most of the Gamers out there like the Black and Red Combo but since this is a Mod Tip, we say take the Red LED out and replace them with the color of your choice.  If you are a lazy Modder go ahead and buy a different LED colored fan.

CONCLUSION

[PROS] Well designed computer case, we love it immediately, it is a mid tower gaming case with a lot of features like removable drive cages and/or bays, big fan on front, a front door to cover the Optical drive bay that will let you guessing what the heck is this, the control panel is pretty centered and well located, hidden Reset button just in case you have a curious cat in house.

[CONS] Top Fan is not included, if you pay over $90.00 for a case like this it should include the top fan or at least 2x 120mm fans, that will give the end user an extra reason to buy it.  Also we didn’t like (inside) lock on the 5.25″ optical drive bay covers we know Cooler Master have Drive bay covers (as the HAF X drive bay covers) that can be detach from outside… why they didn’t include it in this model ? we don’t know!

[Score] 88

[Final Thought] The futuristic look of the case make you wonder if you want to mod it or leave it stock, but you know us better than that, we will tell you go for the Mod our name is New Mod City not New Stock City, so yes… you can mod it… in fact here is a link to a very good friend of us that is modding one [Visit his page here] of this baby as you read this.  Cooler Master should make this a series case and design a full tower version of this case, HAF and Cosmos are their flagship but we think they should make this case the flagship of CM STORM.

THE BOX

[Outside] Has the traditional brown box color with black graphics which we find kind of cool because it tell us the company is not trying to shove this product down our throat with colorful graphics that we know we’ll have to pay at checkout if you know what I mean.

[Inside] We found (8 Black Plastic Tie Wraps, Screws for the HDD, Optical Drives and Motherboard, 1x Tiny Speaker for Motherboard, 1x Additional PCI Plate Cover and the Installation Guide / Manual), we don’t even bother to read or take a look at the Installation guide, if you think you need it then go ahead and read it.

THE CASE

[The Front] Has a unique futurist design, it’s very simplistic but nice looking and sober but since we are modders we think that we can change a few things…

MODDABLE #1: You can remove the mesh to the whole front and paint them any color you want or even better you can remove them and add some colored acrylic for a more professional look.

[The Rear] This is the part of the case / chassis that we don’t normally pay close attention most of them are the same and pretty standard.  It has 7x PCI Slots, the Power Supply can be mounted at the bottom, it comes with a 120mm Fan that you can easily replace if you don’t like it. 2 holes for tubing in case you are into water cooling also a hole between the previous 2 to run you cables without the need to drill the chassis.

[Main Side Panel] This panel has not window which is not bad at all, it has some side ventilation grill where you can easily accommodate 2x 120mm.

MODDABLE #2: If you like to cut like we do so here is your chance to take your rotary tool for modding trip, the rounded corner rectangle can be easily cut with a little bit of previous modding experience and replace it with a nice looking acrylic window.

[Right Side Panel] This Panel is plain; it doesn’t have anything on it.

MODDABLE #3: You can duplicate the design and/or cut from the previous side panel or add some nice graphics (you can paint it or engrave it with your rotary tool) to the whole panel.  It has a lot of room for a theme case mod.

[Top Panel] Was pretty well elaborated and designed due to the fact that the top grill that hold the 2x 120mm fans is not centered but instead is lean more to the side and beveled that way you can mount your fans and/or radiator without any extra work.

MODDABLE #4: You can do some nice cuts and replace the holed grill with some acrylic or you can fabricate your own grill out of any material you like.

[Inside the Case] It has 3 bays for 5.25” External Devices with a tool less mechanism, 6 bays for 3.5” Internal Devices (2 of them are EZ-Swap Modules for SATA HDD) that can be easily attach to the cage.

[Front Panel / Intake] One of the coolest features that we were amazed to see on the case was the front panel, it can house 2x 120mm but what set this front panel apart from the rest is the tool less design to attach the fans and the fan guards / grills to it, you just have to pull the lock to the side and release the fan guard and then the fan itself, pretty easy don’t overkill yourself anymore.

MODDABLE #5: You can replace the Blue LED Fan for any color you want also you may consider to add another fan because it only bring one LED Fan.

MODDABLE #6: You can Custom build your own Fan Guard/Grill out aluminum or acrylic if you want to, you can build one piece, no need to build 2 separate grills.

[2.5" HDD and/or SSD] The other nice feature that we found in this particular case is that you can attach 2x 2.5” HDD /SSD to the bottom of the case / chassis as you can see in the picture.

MODDABLE #7: You can sacrifice one of the 2.5″ slot and cut the floor and add some fan or acrylic window in there.

[The bottom] It has a plain surface, grilled inflow system on the back with a removable and easy to clean filter to keep the inside of your case at low temps, the case feet are 0.590” (15mm) high and made out plastic.

MODDABLE #8: Remove the Case feet and replace them with your own Custom Build case feet.  You can use wood, aluminum or acrylic to build a great set of case feet.

[Control Panel and Cables] From Left to Right – HDD LED Indicator, Reset Button, USB, Mic, Speaker, 2x USB 3.0, Power Button, Power On LED Indicator. The EZ-Swap Module has 2x Black SATA Cables and 1x SATA Power Cable for the 2 devices, then you have your standard control panel cables, USBs, Power and Reset Button Cables and Audio Cable.

MODDABLE #9:  You can take all the stock cables and sleeve them for a nice and clean look.

FEATURES

The Cable Management Channel was a nice touch by InWin you can hide your cables more efficiently and have a nice Air Flow inside your case, the other feature is the  CPU / Processor Retaining Hole to change your CPU Cooler or Water Block without having to take apart the whole system

You can easily remove the Front Cover by pulling the 3 plastic locks on the left side of the Cover, after it will open in a hinge style.  The 3x 5.25″ bay covers are pretty stylish as well; you have to use both hands to detach them from the case.

It 2 holes for tubing in case you are into water cooling also a hole between the previous 2 to run you cables without the need to drill the chassis. The blue LED fan give the case that cool looking feeling that we all like to see this days.

MODDABLE #10: You can add a nice water cooling system (all in one or custom build) to this case, it has a lot of room for water cooling, you can cut the rear holed mesh and replace with your own custom fan grill.

CONCLUSION

[PROS] Very affordable Computer Case, it has a lot of potential for modding or gaming beast, Water Cooling Ready, Tool less design, the Cable Management is a plus, the front cover can be remove with one hand, one of the most Moddable Mid Tower Case out there.

[CONS] It doesn’t bring enough Fans, it has 7 Fan slots and it only bring 2 Fans, 1x on the Front where should be 2 and 1 on the rear, other than that is pretty nice Case for Gamers and Modders.

[Score] 96

[Final Thought] We were very nostalgic when we saw this Case for the first time because it has that special (My Very First Beige Computer) feeling, is a nice entry level case for those who are entering the modding world just now, you can build a nice looking gaming PC that will look beautiful and aggressive at the same time on your desk.  If you are a Pro Modder you will fall in love immediately because you can cut and replace most of the panel without affecting the overall design.  We recommend that you use this Case for your next Case Modding Project. You will not regret it.
